A couple of spiders

For some reason, I always find spiders that are smaller than a flea. Hopefully, the bigger ones will start showing up now that it is warming up. Next stop is to get a coupler and take on super macro.

This one is straight out of the camera without any PP. It's smaller than a flea, so you get no face.

And an out of focus one, but it's tough shooting in the wind at such a little object

You should feed the poor things so they get a little bigger... Mind you, by August, some of these may be as large as a quarter, especially if they live in a place like a barn where there ARE lots of flies.

Given what you're working with, these are not too shabby. Think about shooting them early in the morning when it's still cold and they are sluggish. With the right light and no wind, you may bet some good ones. Dew on spiderweb always looks good too.

No kidding. I hunt in the fall and half of my is spent fighting off giant spiders.
