Motif is endearing. Also the diagonal line of the arms is good.
I myself am not so keen on the colouring, though. While I do ok with such colour on adult skin, it bothers me with the baby skin. Don't know why. Hence AverageJoe's idea on trying out pure black and white sounds attractive to me...
