I hate overly photo shopped images. This one is no exception. I can neither critique or help you as I have no idea of what you consider to be a good image.

I did some boosting in the old version of iPhoto I have. I was trying to capture the wonderful feel of the environment created by Dianna Thater, which was overwhelming in so many ways, including color. Having seen the Terrel exhibit at LACMA last year, this set of spaces seemed like it used some of the same light bathing, but in a much more interesting and creative way - and lots of other techniques in other rooms. The environment was way over-the-top; the photo only a little.
I'm sorry you hated the image, but my guess is you wouldn't like the show either. Perhaps there should be a thread for minimally processed photos that look over processed. Any takers?
