A Few From The Lake

[SCraig]

Despite the Cormorants I saw in This Thread I did manage to get a few shots I liked this morning.

#1 - Green Herons, Foreground and Background

#2 - Reflections

#3 - Chase me out of my fishing spot, will you??? (the heron in the previous shot and this one had a discussion as to whose fishing spot it was)

#4 - Male Goldfinch

Terrific shots - love the composition in every one but the first two especially - wow.

These are beautiful.

All excellent shots. Between #1 and #2 it's really hard to pick just one, but I'm going with the first.

Thanks Barb. Much appreciated.

Thanks Baturn. I like #1 as well, but I wish I had gotten a bit more depth of field so the bird in the back was more in focus. But they were just too far apart.

Nice set

Thanks Michael. Also much appreciated.

Thanks, glad you like it. I love Herons because they are so patient. They can stand for what seems like forever without moving a muscle. I wish I had patience like that

Thanks, Radical. There is a pair of them that showed up recently at the small lake I go to a lot. They still don't get terribly close to the bank but close enough I can get some halfway decent shots. I wish they would get just a little bit closer though
