There won't be any left to shoot. They'll go else where.....if they can. Our area is pretty dry. We've seen less than 10% of the water foul from last year. The area you see in the photo's usually have 2-3' of water and currently have less than 6"'.

Thanks for the explanation. I wish I could share some of our precip with you then. We had enough rain in the month of July to cover an entire year, and it didn't stop in August and it continued into September and October. Nothing much in any one day, it just rains like crazy from a few thunderstorms every couple of days. Usually we have seen the end of the summer rains by the end of August, but not this year.

The bill on that first one looks metallic! The little marsh where I shot the doe and buck set several days ago was almost completely dry Thursday. Our river is as low as I can remember. Nice set
