Nice Pics. People love mallards. Whether they hunt or not, the mallard is a very recognizable duck to most.

The mallard drake has neat motion blur on the wing, but it also shows the wing's shape in flight, and even has a good view of the curly tail feathers and the orange feet. It is also a PERFECT profile shot, with the bill and thew two wing tips visible, and of course the cool green head. Now, keep in mind, I went to the University of Oregon...we are "The Ducks"...so...

...we do not associate with hooded mergansers...

The mallard shot is great, but my heart belongs to the hoodie shots. There's just something so wonderfully silly about that bird, and your shots brings that out even more, which I love. I'm all about the silly.
