A few macro shots

I was messing around with a macro lens and I think these are the only three out of the 200 I took that were worth posting.

In all honesty, there are probably more that I'll be posting later but I'm having a posting block at the moment.

The first one of the penny is very cool. The sliver of focus and the texture of the coin are just amazing. Great shots! What lens were you using?

I like that last one. Personally I wish there was wider dof on the others, but still nice.

Wow...that is a narrow DOF. That's like 1/10 the size of a penny.

That's about 1.4mm or 7/124th of an inch.

Holy moly. Thanks, guys and gals. These were taken with a Canon 100mm macro and that's about all I can say about that. I was using someone else's 10d and was so busy wiping the drool off my face, I didn't check the specs. I really like the shallow DOF on this lens and have more that are even shallower but I think that's just my favorite about the macros.
