Excellent work. I'd love to shoot a wedding where the couple had the guts to do something like this. Though itd be intimidating in a sense because it almost demands outstanding photography. You held up your end of the bargain and then some though.

I was kind of nervous since I had only 1hr between ceremony and reception to shoot all the family pictures, bridal party pictures, and then the formal poses. The contract requested 1.5hr but that's the best the gave me. Like any other weddings, make up ended up longer than expected so the bride ended up a bit late. On top of that was cold, in the 40's, and gusty wind (40+mph kicking up sand everywhere). I ended up with less than 20 minutes for all formals but I had a great time with the bride, groom, and the guests. They were very fun and understanding.

#4 wish the couple had a little bit more light - But I do gravitate towards brighter than normal exposures.

Great job overall! Glad to seeyou doing weddings. If you can come up with that in twenty minutes than I know you're pretty darn capable!

I think these are awesome! 2 and 4 are my favs.. and love the ring shot as well. I don't think my wedding photog got a ring shot.. off the hand anyway. lol

yeah, the only thing I'd change in any of them is the brightness of the wheel in 4. If it'd be possible to make it more of a mahogany color, I think that might work a bit better, but that's a really small nit.

edit: bah, should have put a 'control' control point on the couple to keep the selective dodging from spilling on to them a bit. Didn't notice until I had already saved and exported out of viveza. anyway, just pretend that the couple are just like they are in the original and only the carriage is changed.

Unfortunately, we couldn't take the replica guns out of its holster (per park's rule). At 40mph, I do not want to stand in the way of dry, sharp, tumbling weeds. lol

ha, yeah, figured as much. And I don't think it's bad as is either. Probably one of those things that other photographers notice or care about but actual clients don't.
