decent stuff...I like the reflection of light in the water on 1 that defines the space. I think it would be better without the black emptiness on the left. On 2...I think break out light or something to get a little detail on the statue. It's an interesting idea...but I think a silhouette on a mostly back background doesn't work very well. If there was something to define it better I think it would be a good addition.

Ya the silhouette should be more pronounced against the background. How does this work for ya?

Wow that works a lot better now that its brighteded up. I'll have to straighten out the horizone a bit as well. Thanks for the feedback

For me personally I wasn't sold on the brighter edit.

Do you live near there?

I'd do the picture the same except I'd try putting a light behind the statue to light the edge and bring out the definition!!
