A few recent Osprey

I sent it to an independent repair shop in Chicago. They quoted me $850 with new main boards, new shutter and external parts, but there was only a 2 month warranty and they aren't an authorized service center...

Man that stinks. 2 Months isn't much of a warranty, I am surprised it's not more.
It is hard to believe that so little water is causing you so much trouble.

I was just looking into it, and they look pretty simplistic inside, so you could get the parts and go for it yourself. You don't have much to lose, and it would be fun!

Sorry to read about your camera woes.. BUT WOW! Great shots! I am totally jealous of the fact that you have such great access to the Osprey and their nests. Most of the nests around me are way high and I cannot get the vantage point required, never mind that I really need more glass...
