You'll probably notice that I'm new to TPF. Anyways - thought I'd put a photo up that I took this morning. Some post work was done.

not alot of color (vivid) at all. and the background looks weird against the flower and there is noise and the flower looks like its dyeing.

That split background is the worse thing to me. Remember to look at everything that is in the frame, not just the subject. - TF

It looks overexposed to me.

Yes, the background is distracting, but it's a nice sharp image of the subject. What is your equipment and settings? What PP did you do.
