What's new

A little too sharp?

What's your issue with Gimp?

I love Gimp; but my computer doesn't. I downloaded it, and when I try to open it, it will not open; it tells me there are no files (as in the downloaded files). I don't know what the deal is, but it's really depressing

LOL! I don't think the owner of the cattle would want to change his name, or rebrand all his cattle. :P

OP, to answer your original question: Yes. It is WAY too oversharpened.

I would say to definitely soften it a bit, I like the sepia tone with maybe a light vignette to help with the sky, I love the subject though!! See if you can crop it to the rule of thirds, instead of dead center, maybe that help? :D

You know Gimp is for the Linux platform right? If you have a Windows machine you need the current stable version of Gimp ported to that OS. Here is the Windows installer for 2.6.

The one I installed on my other laptop was the windows version; and I specifically checked for the windows version before I downloaded it on this laptop. :( I'll certainly try it again though...thanks!
