a loading problem..

hi gabg
i had this loading problem tonight.i took a picture and within the first few photos the film camera got stuck..i couldent advance the film.i think i must have put the film in wrong or something..andwayi wasnt sure how to free up the camera working again so i open up the camera had had to remove the film by hand thereby ruining a good new roll of film.is th-
ere a way out of this problem without ruining the film?im using a promaster 35 mm camera..thanks
