This is about 30 seconds before we headed out down the street for the moving shots. He must have hid his hand in the middle of the 5 or so frames I took which is unfortunate.

Would be very nice if you hadn't cropped the tire and the handle bar. With a bike that big though, that would have been tough. Backing up a few feet though would have been prime.

This is cropped in... The bike dwarfs him and it looks a little silly not cropped in.

Sure, but the first crop makes it about the person, where as the second crop makes it less personal and to me there's now 2 subjects fighting for attention. IMHO of course.

Edit: I also like how the crop makes the bike look smaller and more "his size". If that makes any sense.

Try it square with the whole bike, or crop in tighter. Right now it looks like an accident, and there's still a lot of bike competing. This has a burn to bring up the face relative to everything else. The hubcap and the top of the handlebar are left as accents on purpose, to balance the head but, ideally, be subordinate:

I thought the same about the crop job.. but I see what you're saying about it dwarfing him. I actually lol-ed when I saw the full version. In all honesty, though, he's dwarfed in your crop as well at second glance so I think you might be better off keeping all of the bike. Could a different angle have helped this? Maybe looking up at the dude or something?

Thanks. Yes square does look nice, but these are for the purpose of a portfolio which is why they are 11x14 crops.
