A mistake that I actually really liked a lot

Forgot that my flash was on manual when I put it on the LX5. Huge blowout, but I actually liked the result a lot.

Cool.. now find subjects and do it on purpose! Could be a neat set! Do a dog set.. people would buy it!

Thanks guys. Tried to reproduce it on my black dog, and realized that for it to work you need the dog's markings to be relatively contrasty themselves, and for the dog to be overall lighter colored. In the dog above, he's a light brown red, but with dark fur around the eyes, nose and ears.

also, I came really close to deleting this in the camera. Lesson learned, never delete in camera until you have a look on a full screen.
