A Portrait of My Wife

I took this picture of my wife before I got my Nikon DSLR. I really like the picture but I always wish I could go back and capture moments past with my better camera. Anyways, This was taken at Fort Morgan. Enjoy.

I feel like it could use a touch more contrast and maybe brighten it up just a bit.

First off, its not the camera, its the photographer. Also this is a good photo.

I do think taking the shot from a lower angle would be better though to avoid the horizon line intersecting her head.

But otherwise, it's not a bad shot at all!

Wow, ok, so not to hijack the thread or anything... but I saw the picture and I almost thought you had grabbed an image of my wife!

Anyway... I do like your shot, my only thought would be to boost the contrast a bit.
