BUT

i have to say that photography is not an algorithmic art so people should do as they please to get the results. that's just me.

Jeff, indeed, I broke the rule of "never centre your subject" intentionally, since with a slight move of the camera to the left or the right, another blossom or bud would have come into the frame, and I wanted only ONE flower.
And you can see that - if I want to stay with standard print sizes, which I need not ... - I cannot crop. So there it is: dead centre. Hmph. Too bad?
