A reflection on fishing

I was out wandering around on Saturday night, and stopped at Rouge beach, hoping to catch the setting sun, and the rising of the moon over the lake. There were quite a few people catching some late bites. These were all shot with a 70-300, hand held with pretty low lighting.

Thanks Raymond. I snapped off about 20 shots, but these ones are the cleanest of the lot. I used an ISO of 1600 too, but I think I might have been able to get away with the 800. There is a lot of grain.
I do have pretty calm nerves. Gheesh... last night, I was wandering around the abandoned Guild Inn...in the dark. I will post some of them later.

Congrats on the "hand-held-with-telephoto-lens-at-low-light-photos".
And I like this little series of "playing card pictures" - all divided by half in the centre, having a top and mirrored bottom part. Really nice . Reminds me of a photo I took of my son (fishing, too, for that matter) some three years ago. Wanna see?

OK, now that you say so
Took me a while to find this (had already stored it and all the other photos from those holidays on a CD), and I am sorry to say that this was a scan from print on my old and much worse scanner, plus at the time I still felt pretentious enough to think my photos would need a watermark... :blushing: uh-oh.

But your photos made me think of this one IMMEDIATELY, and are you surprised

I have to agree with the rest, nice series Chiler. I didn't notice the grain until you said it was there. My favs are #2 & #3, but they are all good. Thanks for showing them.
