A video app compatible to any device?

We are currently into an event and party planning business. My sister is the manager and I'm her assistant coordinator. My daughter is handling the photography as well as her boyfriend. We want to consider a video conferencing app that is applicable for our Samsung and iPhone devices. We want one that is efficient even in tough time coordinating and collaborating for an important event. Are you familiar with the available features and its compatibility to mobile devices?

unsure of the question. If you just want a mobile device video conferencing software, or something that does a lot more.

Keep in mind if you are trying to do video conferencing with multiple people then a mobile device may not be the answer. It has one wifi/cellular antenna. And you want to stream multiple streams at the same time .. with clarity and high quality? Your limiting factor may be the device itself ==> Want to have a group video chat on iPad or iPhone? Have to go with Astro on this one, you can find plenty of video conferencing apps for the android operating system that will probably work, but odds are good they are going to require you to sign up for some manner of service and pay them a subscription.

I guess the question should be, do you really need video? Your looking at a ton of bandwidth there for multiple streams. If you don't actually need to see what the other person is seeing I think you'd be better off sticking to some sort of texting solution, using speech to text and if needed text to speech.

that's what I was thinking. Then using txting for images or email.
low cost solution assuming you have cell service on those devices, otherwise can use non-cell service type phone numbers, which Skype supports.

"video conferencing app" - he or she maybe referring to something like Skype or Hangouts or Facetime. Do you all want to have the same app on your phone? I wanted to suggest Skype since it's free. However, if you are considering something more advanced, I would go for the paid apps. Our company uses Brother for our online meetings. Perhaps you can check for other similar software or apps.
