A380 First Flight Photos (Beware - 684K)

Ok so here are the promised A380 photos. I didn't go out to the airport because it's just too hard for me to get out there and I don't have a nice big zoom lens so it would've been a waste of time anyway.

Instead I went to the central city square where they had a screen set up and a big Hot Air balloon. Here's what I got. You'll have to forgive the crap quality, I was zoomed right in, and they're also pics of a big tv screen so quality = non existent.

I haven't done anything to these pics except rezise and chuck a frame on. ENJOY!

Overall, I was really ticked off at how badly organised the event was at the city square. But it was alright I guess.

Good pictures, #2 to #5 stand out to me. #5 is a terrific shot.

Yes, despite the lack in quality through using the full zoom, I also like the action in Photo 2. Very colourful, and, as I said, full of some interesting action.

Do you know where the A380 was destined to?
Some time sooner or later there must one of them arrive at the A380 site in Hamburg, I would think........

I think it went out to Bordeaux and to the Atlantic Ocean. It did a little bit of flying around the Pyrenees as well just to get the money shots with the nice snows covered mountains.

Yeah sorry bout the bad quality. I wasn't really there for the photos...more there for the experience. And they made it pretty impossible to get nice pics of the action that was going on anyway.
And I like #5 as well, i just wish I got more of the girl and balloon in the shot. Ah well. There's always next time.
