Looks like interesting stuff, but I'd like to see more detail and to see the walls, road, fences, etc. be the most prominent part of the image, not the sky. The third one probably works best, although I'd crop some off the top and try to bring out a little more detail in the dark areas. If these were shot as raw files you could even process twice, once for shadows and once for highlights, and then combine. Look at Creative Black & White by Harold Davis, or some other book that describes the technique.

I have more that were predominantly in the buildings. Only problem is that the buried bunkers were sealed and the outlying buildings were covered in graffiti. Thanks for the tips

lol my bad. yeah the reactors have long since been decommissioned as it was one of the most unstable nuclear plants in the U.S. all thats left are the cooling towers and remnants of office buildings and whatnot. I have a few with the reactor buildings in the that i had intended to post, but it didnt happen haha. now i feel like a tard. oh well

To tell the truth, I was dissapointed when I opened this thread. Your title promised me a bunch of pictures of buildings and structures, and what I got was almost nothing but a lot of pictures of sunsets. The two cooling tower shots are the only ones that are obviously related to nuclear power. The other shots with recognizable buildings could have been taken anywhere - like parts of Detroit or other major declining cities.

Those are some great photos, but a little scary that you can get that close to a reactor.

None of them really do much for me. But if I had to pick one it would be #2. Even then I think it would have made the photo better if you had taken this shot from a lower position and it also seems a tad underexposed to me.

Lots of sky, little to nothing of abandoned buildings and nuclear reactors.

The interior shots were all made from a very mundane camera perspective, and the lighting in them is only what was available, though the location fairly screams for OCF.

Yeah, sorry. i guess the title was a bit misleading. I dont normally go to places like this to do any sort of exploring and the sky was more interesting to me than the beat up buildings. I would have spent more time photographing the nuclear cooling towers and the rest of the facility, but i was short on time because i had to take my cat to the vet to be put down :/ I do appreciate all of your input though.
