Abstract attempt

I thought since it was nasty outside I would try some abstract photography.

It looks like one of those sweet fiber optic flash lights I got from the circus when I was a kid.... also reminds me of fireworks, or some sea creature or maybe a glowing flower.

So what is it really-- how did you shoot it? Its pretty cool.

You guessed it, it's a kids fiber optic light. I tried to do a series of close up macro shots and focus stack them but light causes halos that change from shot to shot so it came out as kind of a mess. I may try a single strand and see if that works better.
