Excellent images John, my preference is the first and last, as they depict the movement of the water without the blownout look, which is so prevelent in this type of shot. Ernie

I am also a fan of #1. Although it is a blurred pic, it is the sharpest. Does that make any sense? Oh yeah, and the colours are sweet.

Exposure of Photo 1 is super-interesting, but my personal favourites are those with the specks of green from the tufts of grass.

With my little compact digital camera (the only one that I've got left for the time being

) I have tried to take long-exposure photos of flowing water much in vain so far, all "bloopers"..., but eventually I will get there. I have told myself so! *stomping foot* It is just so interesting to look at!

Lafoto if you could get your hands on a couple of polarizers and but them in front of the lense it would buy you a much slower shutter speed , it would be a bit tricky, but possible. Playing with moving water is a lot of fun, seems to be an infinite amount of possibilities.
