What are good, safe, choices for an AC adapter for the Sony alpha 77 (SLT-A77V)?
I came across a Sony branded one, but it's $99, which is rather high. I found some generic ones, but some scattered reviews gave me pause, like "fried the motherboard." Is there a happy medium for a lower-cost generic alternative that's safe to use?
I do have questions about reducing grain in my A77 (it has more grain than a silo compared to my older DSC-F828), but that's for another sub-forum. I also want to learn more about manual photography.
I didn't know the rules for posting links, so I refrained, but is
ACPW10AM (sorry for the larger font - copied and pasted) the correct part name for the official Sony AC adapter, in case I'm stuck with that? I couldn't find any mention in the manual.
Thanks in advance for any answers!
