Went up to Acadia National Park for a bit. Grabbed a few shots. Want to go back for better light and with not wife and kid to distract me.

Agreed. Doesn't point the right way but there are so many spots like this it'd be easy to find one that does.

I plan on going back later in the fall. It's still very touristy this time of year. Behind me was maybe 100 people taking in the sights. Plus it's $20 to enter the park.

Don't get too caught up you avoid the wife and kid. I started making that mistake and remembered the important photos had them in them. These were family outings not bri photography outings.

And I know, advice is like aholes......

oh, and yeah. tourists suck. I prefer going to the beach in the winter usually.
