Accessories you can't live without.

Since I know nothing about accessories for my camera, I wanted to see what you guys use. What are some things that you have bought for your camera that you have to take with you all the time. Or, what are some things that you have bought in the past that you just have to buy again if you get a new camera. I have a Nikon D60 and I was looking to outfit it with some things that you guys would recomend.

Lens hoods (if your lens didnt come with them)

For someone just starting their wish list:
extra camera battery
a couple 4GB memory cards (with 10MP RAW files, that's ~200 images per card. I'd hate to loose more than that at one go.)
comfortable strap (either standard neck or preferably sling shot style)
*GOOD* CPL filter

To expand your game:
external flash that goes off camera (could involve synch cord or RF trigger)
minimum two sets of flash batteries & charger
tripod and/or monopod
ND filter(s)

To hone your skills:
increase the depth of your epidermis
train your olfactory nerves to smell the enevidable bull$hit
post photos on photo forums for C&C from other photogs (the previous two are a prerequisite)




EDIT: forgot to add, a set of brass balls would come in handy.

Be cautious. That's pretty much a personal thing. Many persons really like it but others disagree.

I finally broke down and bought an Arctic Butterfly to clean my sensor ... wish I had done so much earlier.
My Giotto Rocket Blower gets alot of use.

If you don't want to sink $ into a macro lens, close-up filters/extension tubes can be a nice thing to have.
