Adobe Lightroom 2.0 Released

Anybody feel the improvements are worth the upgrade to 2.0? I installed the beta version and that it was pretty good but didn't spend too much time with it. So, thought I'd seek input.

I feel that the upgrade is worth it. But....

You're the only person that can say whether or not it's worth it for you - try the beta more and decide for yourself.

I downloaded the trial version and am quite impressed. I think I will be getting it. Just too easy to manipulate and it handles NEF files.

Does anyone know if there is a special discount price for the full version of LR 2.0 for beta users?

For beta users no, but if you have LR 1.0, then you can upgrade for $99.

As for the OP, for myself, I didn't even have to try the Beta first, I saw a video demonstrating the new localized editing capabilities and signed right up! I just got my new copy last week, but haven't had a chance yet to play with it.... can't wait!

I've been using it since it was released (I don't beta test). So far, so good, but the integration into Photoshop doesn't work well, imo. Many others are having issues with it as well. It is NOT handled the same way LR1.x handled it.

I'm really digging the localized adjustments... really reduces the amount of destructive changes I have to make in photoshop.
