ADRL dragracing

A pix I took at a ADRL (American Drag Racing League). I know everyone is'nt going to be a fan of the edit. I like it as well as summit so thought I'd share.

I like it. Great timing on getting the sidewall of the tires wrinkling. It looks like you were pretty close when getting the picture. It must have been hard not to flinch when the car took off.

I'm not a huge fan of selective colour, but at least you chose the right part of the image to colour!

I think it looks great, paint work on the car ties in nicely with the sky.

I was shooting for ADRL and Drag Illustrated, so yes I was on the track with the cars. Ear protection is a must, I have shot some top fuel that ear protection made made no difference lol

I shot a few events for National Dragster and really enjoyed the sensation of the top fuel and funny cars, especially standing 20 yards down the track as they go by. I've never felt that kind of shock go thorough my body. That and breathing nitromethane. Love the sport.
