Thanks guys. I'm a student in South Africa. I joined this forum to learn more about photography. Looks like it's full of trolls. I just started this thread for people like me who can use a camera, but doesn't know any of the advanced things

There is an entire subforum dedicated to just what you want. It's called "Beyond the Basics" Head over there, there's a whole wealth of knowledgeable information. But photography isn't an information dump. If you come with a specific problem you'll get a specific answer. If you want us to just dump advanced stuff in a thread ... well there's 200 page books written on advanced photography, you won't learn everything from an information dump in some thread that doesn't even have a useful index.
