hi everyone, i am new to photography, and dont realy know what i am doing.
I have a canon 400D with lenses- 18-55, 55-200, and a sigma 155-500.
I like to shoot landscapes and nature, i have been shooting everything on the landscape setting, i have been getting quite good results but i know i am not using the camera to its potential, i just point and click, any help and advice would be much appreciated.

Get the camera out of the landscape setting and put into Aperture or Shutter priority setting. Learn the Aperture, shutter speed, iso triangle and how they work together.

I dont shoot landscapes but we do have some great places to shoot round where we live, try changing to AV (aperture priority) all you have to do then is decide how deep you want your depth of field and adjust exposure compensation if needed, a polorizing filter to give you nice blue skies or an ND filter so you can get a more even exposure between land and sky
