Affordable Telecentric lens for parallel projection

Hello folks,

I need to photograph a mechanical component using parallel projection for measurement purposes. I heard, that the appropriate solution for this problem is a telecentric lens. However, I'm absolutely new to this subject and my budget is comparatively slim. So, which models can you recommend, that don't cost too much or can you give me an alternative solution for parallel projection?


My digitial camera is a Canon model.
