Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I used to be afraid of the camera. I'd feel stupid clicking off a shot of something because I thought people would wonder why I wanted to remember that. That all changed when I graduated from college, and turned to digital, specifically to document my trip through the Himalayas.

The years that followed were spent documenting my excursions from Nepal, to Canada, over to New Zealand, and back home to the US. These trips left me with a desire to make my images look better, and here I am - wanting to take my interest and hobby to a higher level.

So how do I break out of the routine of process-oriented photography, and learn to focus on a single subject? It drives me mad to shoot something over and over again. I find myself wanting to move on to that other cool locale.

Just some thoughts...

Learn some of the basics, as to what makes photos "good" in general. Types of things...framing (rule of thirds), color/contrast, depth of field, lighting, etc. Then you'll have a good basis to start improving on.
