Well, I've only had the pleasure of your virtual company for about a year and a half now, but I've certainly enjoyed it!

Yeah, five years. I'm finding it a little difficult to believe it myself. I came on here initially in 2008 after the office I worked for (until last July) had bought an Olympus E-520. I started taking photos with it and thought I was doing pretty well. I thought I would find a place on the 'nets where other people into photography could enjoy my "great photos". TPF is what I found and to my aching heart's dismay, my "photography" was not received very well at all. Broke my once thin-skinned heart and I left for a little bit (a month or more) and then decided to come back.

I may not yet be the best photographer I could be but I am, with the assistance of TPF participants, way better than I ever would have been without coming here.
