I posted this on one of the national Subaru club forums and the resident technical guys tell me it'll last another 200,000 before it needs a new engine. :mrgreen:

I'm hoping to upgrade pretty soon though.

Subaru are tanks. I had a Suzuki that I drove to 300000 before it needed some major work.

My jeep is well on its way to 300k! Good shot and congrats....it's rare that a car holds up that long isn't it! : )

My subaru (2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS) Is at 140,000mikes today. I replaces the engine and tranny at 100,000 miles. Good think my husbands a mechanic. I love my car but I've kinda our grown it. I need a four door. I'm tired of climbing in and out of the back seat to a put my 2 kids in there.
