Air brushing

This is my third attempt at airbrushing, so I am still discovering new things to watch out for... I still like what we did. The victim, err model, is my compliant daughter. The first pic is a crop to show where I need to pay attention with coverage. The makeup looks fine in normal light, then the less opaque areas get revealed under the flash.

What kind of airbrush are you using? I have been using airbrushes for over 30 years. Using them for re-touching back in the pre-photoshop days for a while, and then progressed to cars, hockey helmets, etc. They can be great tools to have a lot of fun with, and like eveything else take practice. I use Iwata brushes, they are quite precise for my needs. The work on your daughter looks pretty good, with a model to work with, i'm sure you'll be turning out some really interesting work in no time.

Haha... not especially. It only took about 10-15 minutes. Besides, she was excited about getting a cool facebook avatar.

Yeah, also using the Iwata. I have a gravity fed Eclipse brush and a Revolution bottle fed brush for longer spraying. I have a couple models I work with regularly who have said they will let me practice on them.
