Album Design: Photoshop or Illustrator?

Hi,

I've been doing album design in photoshop. Though I have considerable experience in illustrator. I know that Photoshop is the standard program for album design, but it feels like illustrator would be more flexible for me when i do album design. What I like about it is that images can be more naturally be dragged around compared with photoshop. What's missing with Ai though are
the filters and effects photoshop has.

So what do you think?

Do what you need to do to get the job done
For real basic basic stuff, I use FotoFusion, the moment client wants something more prettier, I use PS.
