I really like the cropping of the first two shots, and agree with the white balance issues that others have mentioned. What a beautiful girl! However, the third one just isn't doing it for me. I think that the depth of field is just too shallow and I wish both eyes were in focus. I also wish her shirt weren't so distracting, but I'm sure you didn't get to choose that! The lighting is excellent IMHO. Can you share what your light sources were?

Light was fading sunlight as it was just over the horizon, about 45 minutes before sunset. I had an off camera speedlight about 5' away to her right side triggered by my 7d's on camera flash.

i agree, you cant go wrong with a 70-200. Its my choice for portraits also. I barely touch my 50mm anymore. :\
