-15 + windshield WHOA!!!

That must have been crazy. How much did the wind shields accumulate to?

On an unrelated note, the photo is leaning to the left and the composition is too busy for me. Maybe a slight horizon adjustment/crop would help.

Errr, it's windchill not windshield lol.

I like the photo, D7000 is a worker!

they were stacked in the corner :)

Oh, it's supposed to look that way. Gotcha. *shrug* I am not calibrated, so I was just curious if it was just me.

what did you use for lighting? This is a nice photo. Props!
also how does the camera perform in such cold temp?

I live in Alaska right now and it gets to -60 degrees!

Do the blacks look blue?

Was done in post processing.

this is kindof the look i was going for with some cross processing with a dark beige in highlights and light blue in shadows.

The camera was in a really cold temp for about 3 hours in a row, shooting pretty much non stop without any single issue.

I used a sb-600 at 1/8 power at camera left in a 24X24 speedlight softbox from china. similar to the lastolite one.

Here another one with "normal" tones and colors
