Mondays are my big day as I shoot all day long... The morning started out cloudy and overcast so I decided to see if I could catch on of the local Monk Parakeet building their nest. Hit a state park in the evening to see what I could find. The sun had almost set and there was a haze raising off the water so I just hunkered down in some muddy sand and watched as the Showy Egret did the dance.. Thanks for looking and comments welcome..

Actually they are common on the shoreline. People on my FB page are saying they see them between Fairfield and Old Saybrook..

Quack quack! Come on down and I will show you were the colony lives. It's kind of a somber place as there are many dead people there :(

Simply amazing! Especially the last two.
Thank you sir!
