Another Storm

Yes, I used the 350D with the 17-85mm IS USM. Not wide open. I'll check the exif but somewhere between 28-35mm? Very little post processing!

Well, that's the same lens i have so I shouldn't have any excuse not to get shots like these, but it may be awhile, we don't get that many storms - mainly just the monsoons in the summer. What is noise ninja? I've heard of other noise removing apps on here too, but never used one...

Noise ninja basically applies a mask over your image to help eliminate noise and smooth the picture. It can sharpen the image at the same time giving you a uniform look.

I used a few different plug-ins to help eliminate noise, but this one is my favorite so far. Here's the website.

JTHphoto, this series were all taken at 44mm f/11 around 1 min exposures on two of these and only about 30 sec on the third.
