any suggestions what to do with autocad

I was working in my Autocad version 2017 and it viewed me: File will not open. I saw any error in autocad only first time. Help... I have to recovery autocad data.

Try your .bak file. AutoCad should create one for every drawing you do just rename it as a .dwg and try and open it.

You should have Auto-Save turned on so go and copy that file to a new location and change the extension from ac$ to dwg. You also have the Recover option to try under Drawing Utilities.

I worked with AutoCAD files during some years. I came across similar problems, unfortunately such commands as RECOVER and RECOVERALL didn’t help every time. For myself I found Recovery Toolbox for DWG – application easily works with all version of .dwg files.
