Anybody use this? (Wide angle/macro adapter)

I was browsing on photojojo, and ran across this: The Wide Angle & Macro Lens Adapter I think it looks neat, anybody have one of these? Or have any opinions? I'm thinking about possibly picking one up.

Pick one up. You'll have a nice optical paperweight / doorstop.

Or, save your money and buy a prime wide-angle or macro lens.

They literally sell the same thing on amazon for like 11 bucks. I bought one and it was well worth 11 dollars!

As above, got similar one on ebay and if you dont expect to much they are fun and the wide angle on a kit lens gives you options you wouldnt otherwise have. This was taken on a kit lens with a 50D. If you go full wide there is loads vignetting but if you go to focal length about 24 you still get effective about 13mm, its not great but its acceptable for the screen or a 5 x 7 print possibly

For $10 - 15, fun to play with for a few minutes, but any more than that, as Sparky said, save up and buy a real lens.

they are not that bad and it depends how you use them. im quite happy with some of the results. you can read more about 0.5x wide angle macro lens
