I found one for about $500 for floor to ceiling. Not as bad as a grand!

You could monkey around with paint on emulsions and a projector! God knows how you'd develop it, and it'd probably come out more expensive, but you'd have a grand time getting covered in chemicals.

Ok, maybe my idea of fun isn't the same as yours..
