Artist?

Anybody have a name for the artist of this style of cartoons? Seems to me they were popular in the 50's or something... maybe roaring 20's? Idk, I just love that style of artwork and want to get the name of whoever was known for it, so I can do some research and learn to draw in that style.

You know. I used to know who popularitized these kinds of parodies. They are based on educational materials published in the 1940's to the 1960's, think Dick and Jane. There was one particular artist who did this stuff, though I am unsure if there is any one artist doing it now.

Sorry, I can't help. I am familiar with the style but I don't know names or if there even was one name bigger than the others. The simple reason is I don't look at adverts, I don't live in the past, I'm creating my own reality

There are people here way more versed in the past than I am.

I typed in "1950's illustrators" in a Google window and hit the Return key...

1950's illustrators - Google Search

Quite a few images came up...looks like you could start there...

You might also search for 1950's magazine cartoonists, or "cold-war era cartoonists", or "Eisenhower era cartoonists". Have you considered asking your question of somebody at school, like the school's head librarian, or an older American history or social sciences teacher? It's possible that a person well-versed in American popular culture of the 50's could give you a good lead.
