At the firing range today. C&C welcome

Went to the range with a friend and our kids. Had a great time, ISO 3200, speed 1/4000, f/5.6. Lighting was natural light, after getting home, whites looked a little blown out, but I had shooting glasses on, didn't notice it then. I'll remember it next time.

Had speed up so high as I was trying to catch the brass exiting the guns.

5. Managed to get this shot just as the brass was being ejected. This was a hard picture to take. Even at 1/4000 I got very lucky. I just kept the trigger down on the camera and took pictures as my friend fired off 15 rounds.

why is everything so noisy what camera do you have?

I think I had the ISO too high. Looking back, I should have adjusted it a bit down. Again, I think my shooting glasses interfered with my judgement, should have had ISO around 800. Next time I'll dial it down.

It could also be the crappy photo editing tools on Photoshop. Let me post some originals.

It looks very bright, you should be able to go as low as your camera will go. Say 200 or so...

I need to get back to shooting more often...
