I went to a carshow in Germany where they showed US cars. Fabulous Corvettes, old and new Mustangs, Camaros and much more. A real pleasure for our eyes and ears, especially for us, Europeans, who don't see those cars often over here... A real delight!
This was my first attempt at photographing such an event (I'm also not used to Black & White). I took the 6D and the 50mm f/1.8. I wanted that shallow depth of field and wanted to practice using a fixed focal length, which I rarely do. I soon realized that photographing details of a car was more interesting than the entire car. It was easier as well, since there was a big crowd. I really liked the little skull on the hood of that Malibu Classic that gave an even more agressive look to the car.
