I've collected over 400 shed antlers over the years, but only recently have started using a DSLR to document them.
Here's a few of my fav's from this year.
Photographing these things as you find them without manipulating the scene always presents a bit of an unexpected challenge for me, and they don't always fall in the most scenic of settings.

Interesting... I think with a shallower DoF and maybe some careful positioning, this could turn into a neat series.
