We had the excavator out clearing about an acre today to prep our property to build another home, so I thought I'd take the chance to take some photos. C&C on the conversions welcomes, as I'm not much good at it.

The images don't gain anything by the conversion. But why the pink cast?

No reason other than I just found the shadow and highlight color/ saturation controls in Lightroom.

On the second one I like the broken tree/branch in the foreground and the house in the background, but there are a lot of things distracting from them. I would try to emphasize these two objects more by adjustments to crop and local brightness.
