I'm leaning towards the B&W version...

I'm going to say neither...as is, anyway. I couldn't decide, so I just took your shot and desaturated it to make the colors much less obnoxious and then removed some of the shadows so as to brighten her face and I like the result better than the two you posted.

Neither, not a keeper in my mind just a snap shot, underexposed and can't tell if she is happy or not
