Posted too many yesterday so I didn't get much response I really appreciate your advice! Any tips on getting good shots of little ones who are mobile? I am having a much harder time getting ones I like now that my baby is on the run :-/

Shoot a LOT and throw out almost all of them. Candids of kids are work, since their little faces change so much -- take 10 shots, and if you're lucky they'll be making the cute face in one.

The light in the first one is quite flat and uninteresting, and the child's pose seems awkward. The kid is obviously in motion, and this is a great example of why you want 10 exposures instead of one

The second one is quite sweet! There are technical things to say about it that I think are irrelevant, but there's a good chance someone else will chime in.
